As Chief Operating Officer at ORLO, Matthew leads the strategic direction of the organization. Matthew has worked with ORLO for over 10 years. Since joining in 2014, Matthew provides oversight for the daily operations of the company and works closely with Mr. Orlofsky and the executive team on all aspects of the business. He also handles ORLO’s commercial portfolio and has successfully overseen the acquisition of 140,000 sf of medical office and 12,000 sf of retail space. 

Prior to joining ORLO, Matthew practiced as a Bankruptcy and Restructuring lawyer at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and O'Sullivan, Graev & Karabell. He also managed equity hedge funds for 10 years at Salomon Brothers Asset Management, Citigroup Alternative Investments and Saranac Capital, serving as Director and Senior Portfolio Manager. 

Matthew graduated from Columbia College and received his JD from New York University School of Law.
